It is an honour and a pleasure to be a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of ab-Original: Journal of Indigenous Studies and First Nations’ and First Peoples’ Cultures.
ab-Original: Journal of Indigenous Studies and First Nations' and First Peoples' Culturesis a journal devoted to issues of indigeneity in the new millennium. It is a multi-disciplinary journal embracing themes such as art, history, literature, politics, linguistics, health sciences and law. It is a portal for new knowledge and contemporary debate whose audience is not only that of academics and students but professionals involved in shaping policies with regard to concern relating to indigenous peoples.
We are now seeking high quality material for the first few editions of ab-Original. If you have a suitable article prepared we would be keen to receive it as soon as possible. The time frame for the first edition is very tight – we have a target publication date of mid-February 2017. Content for the edition will need to be finalised, including through peer review, by early October.
Alternatively, you may know colleagues who could provide something suitable and at standard, and would be grateful for your recommendations to them on this.
I have attached a promotional flyer for the journal to this post. I would be grateful if you would disseminate amongst your networks and encourage the institutions you are affiliated with to subscribe.
